Lone cultivators are Gu Masters and Gu Immortals that don't belong to a righteous path force and aren't members of the demonic path. They have varied origins, with most of them being mortals who were lucky enough to stumble upon an inheritance, enabling them to cultivate.
Some lone cultivators have developed a relationship with one or more righteous path forces, and some have even joined said forces and became members of the righteous path. Some have many good connections with both paths.

- Even though lone cultivators aren't necessarily demonic they are oftentimes lumped together with demonic cultivators and discriminated against.
